Everyone knows Lake of the Ozarks rocks. And anyone who's been to the Lake knows the shoreline is... rocky.
So some folks are surprised to learn the Lake has plenty of sandy beaches accessible by land or by water, where you can enjoy the summer sun and sand between your toes. It's the beach life, in the Ozarks, except here, you don't have to worry about jellyfish.

Restaurant/Bar Beaches
Lake of the Ozarks is loved for the many right-on-the-water restaurants and bars that boaters can boat right up to and enjoy.
Quite a few of these restaurants have sandy beaches open to the public. There's no requirement to patronize most of these places, but it's courteous to at least buy something to eat or drink while you're there. Plus... you're on the beach. You need something cold in-hand!
