BREAKING: Three Ejected From Boat On Lake Of The Ozarks, Search & Recovery On Scene

LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — A search and recovery team is currently on-scene in the area of the 6 Mile Marker, where a bass boat incident left three people in the water, according to a source.

The individual told LakeExpo two people have been recovered from the water; their condition is currently unknown. A third person who was aboard the boat has not yet been recovered, and a search is under way.

At the scene Upstream Towing deployed a prop fouler and jumped on the bass boat to bring it under control.

Details of the incident are sparse, including the cause of the ejection. LakeExpo will update this story as more information is made available by the Highway Patrol and sources at the scene.

Boaters who may be moving through the area should move slowly and give a wide berth to rescue crews on site, as one person is presumably still in the water.
