UPDATE: Boater Drowns After Three People Were Ejected From Bass Boat

One person has died after three adults fell into the water from a bass boat Wednesday afternoon at Lake of the Ozarks.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said troopers responded to the 7 Mile Marker near the Gravois Arm. Two people were rescued without injury, while the third person was not recovered from the water.

A dive team is working to locate and recover the body.

Earlier reports from the scene indicated search and recovery crews were operating in the area and that Upstream Towing helped bring the bass boat under control.

The cause of the incident has not yet been released. Authorities have also not released identifying information about the three people involved.
