Randall M Reid

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — A Linn Creek man threatened employees and patrons with a gun and wooden club at a local Linn Creek restaurant, authorities say.

According to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, on Friday night, Randall M. Reid, 61, began threatening staff and customers at Donna’s Ice House. Restaurant staff reportedly asked Reid to leave the restaurant multiple times during the evening, but they say Reid returned to the restaurant three times, bringing a pistol and a club and threatening to harm employees. When Camden County deputies arrived, they say Reid was involved in a verbal confrontation with staff in the parking lot.

Reid was arrested and police recovered a four-foot long wooden club, a loaded .38 Special revolver, and a set of brass knuckles.

Reid is charged with the Class B Felony of Assault 1st Degree or Attempt and the Class A Misdemeanor of Unlawful Possession, Transport, Manufacture, Repair or Sale of Illegal Weapon.

Reid was booked into the Camden County Adult Detention Facility where he is held without bond.
