LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — As Bikefest at Lake of the Ozarks wrapped up its final day, a weekend filled with celebration was marred by multiple accidents, including one fatality.
In one of the most tragic incidents of the weekend, a motorcycle crash on Highway 242 resulted in the death of a female passenger.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said around 12:20 a.m. Sunday, 26-year-old Khalil Manygoats, of Phoenix, Ariz., was driving a 2009 Harley Davidson Dyna Superglide when he struck a median barrier, overturned, and ejected his passenger, 35-year-old Larose Spencer, also from Phoenix.
Spencer was pronounced dead at the scene by the Miller County Coroner at 1:18 a.m. Sept. 15. Manygoats is being treated for moderate injuries.
