Nearly half of the active lakefront home listings in September’s report had a price reduction. At the same time, the homes that sold averaged 44 days on the market, down from 48 in August. Even with fewer September closings, year-to-date home sales were still ahead of 2025.
In this Lake Expo Real Estate market update, Jesse discusses what those numbers mean for buyers and sellers. The conversation covers lakefront home prices, available inventory, and why the average sale price rose while the median fell. It also covers lakefront condos, where sales increased and average days on market dropped from 93 in August to 75 in September.
If you’ve been wondering whether to make an offer, adjust your asking price, or give it more time, this is a useful place to start.
