CAMDENTON, Mo. — The Lake of the Ozarks Air Show is soaring back to the area next month at the Camdenton Memorial Lake Regional Airport, promising a day of fun for the whole family.

The air show, presented by Bridal Cave, is on Saturday, Sept. 7. This anticipated event is organized by the Camdenton Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Lake of the Ozarks Convention & Visitor Bureau and the Lake Aviation Center.

"We are thrilled to bring back the Lake of the Ozarks Air Show with exciting new features and some beloved traditions," said K.C. Cloke, the Camdenton Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director. "This year's event promises to be our most exhilarating yet."

The event is free to attend, though parking on-site will be available for $10. For those looking to avoid the parking fee, free parking will be offered at the Camdenton Middle School, with complimentary shuttle service provided to the airport.

The day commences with a community breakfast from 7:30-10 a.m. in Hanger D. The Camdenton Scouts Troop 29 is hosting the breakfast for everyone for $8 per person. Veterans can enjoy a complimentary meal courtesy of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Festivities officially kick off with an opening ceremony at 10:30 a.m. An impressive lineup of aerial performances and acts will run until 3:30 p.m. This year features a MiG-17F fighter jet performance and new static displays. The children's ping pong ball drop and several performer favorites will also make a return.

"We look forward to seeing families and aviation enthusiasts come together for a day of spectacular performances and community fun," Cloke said.
