The McCormacks recognized a need at the Lake for a dedicated flooring store where homeowners could see, touch and compare finishes in person. The concept took off quickly and their gorgeous showroom has grown in popularity since opening in October of 2025.

Inside The Showroom

Lake Flooring & Finishes’ showroom not only gives Dream Home clients a chance to see the products before purchase, but it is also open to the public, operating as a standalone store for contractors and DIYers alike. “We are people-people so we love when clients or residents come in just to say hi and see the showroom,” McCormack said.

Lake Flooring & Finishes offers a wide range of quality flooring options including hardwood, luxury vinyl, carpet, laminate and tile, all curated for both design and durability. These selections give homeowners several styles and price points, with designers on hand to guide clients as they choose colors, shades and textures for their home. Installation is also available.

Their team works one-on-one with customers to balance dream design with practical living. When choosing tile colors, McCormack has noticed a few popular choices. “We’ve been seeing a lot of greens lately. And gem colors are also very trendy,” she said.

From initial design concepts to selecting finishes and coordinating the final details, the team handles the entire process. “We spend a lot of time making sure the finishes go together,” McCormack emphasized. She trusts my eye, so she let me pick out everything. After it was done, she was as happy as a bird with a fry!” McCormack laughed, adding, “She loved everything about how it turned out.”
