LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — A Belleville, Ill. woman was injured on Sunday evening, in what has been a common incident on the Lake this summer.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 45-year-old Tyrone Robinson was driving a 1995 Maxum deck boat northbound at the 6.5 Mile Marker of the Lake’s Glaize Arm when the boat hit a wake.

Tara Dixon, 43, a passenger on the boat, was thrown into the air and landed back in the vessel, sustaining moderate injuries. She was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
