MILLER COUNTY, Mo. — Two people were hospitalized on Wednesday following a crash at the intersection of Routes Y & Z, near Eldon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, around 9:40 a.m., 58-year-old Nancy Parr was driving a Ford Taurus southbound on Route Y and turned left onto Route Z. The Ford was hit by a northbound Honda Accord, driven by 68-year-old Wilburn Byrd Jr.
Both drivers sustained moderate injuries. Parr was taken to Capital Region Medical Center and Byrd was taken to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
