CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — A Stoutland man was hospitalized early Monday morning following a crash on Highway 7.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 57-year-old Glen Banks was driving a 2016 Dodge Caravan north on Highway 7, near Mill Creek Road, around 4:25 a.m., when he crashed. The Patrol reports the minivan first went off the right side of the road and hit a guardrail. It then returned to the road, hit a concrete wall, returned to the road again, went off the left side of the road, and hit a guardrail.

The minivan was totaled in the crash and Banks sustained moderate injuries: authorities say he was wearing a seat belt. He was taken to Lake Regional Hospital via ambulance, and the vehicle was towed.
