MILLER COUNTY, Mo. — A Florida man was hospitalized on Tuesday night after crashing a Ford Explorer along Highway D in Kaiser.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 55-year-old David Hall, of Silver Springs, Fla., was driving a 1997 Ford Explorer north on Route D at around 7:30 p.m. when his SUV went off the right side of the road, then crossed back over the road and crashed off the left side. The vehicle hit an embankment and overturned, causing minor injuries for Hall, who authorities say was not wearing a seat belt.
A resident in the area said Hall’s vehicle smashed into multiple mailboxes before crashing off the road. Hall was arrested on pending charges of DWI–Persistent Offender. He was released for medical treatment, and as of Wednesday evening, no charges appeared on Missouri CaseNet.
