MILLER COUNTY, Mo. — Two people were hospitalized after crashing on Highway 42 early Tuesday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 24-year-old woman from Camdenton pulled out in a Nissan Versa into the path of a Volkswagen Jetta, driven by a 32-year-old man from Brumley. The crash happened around 2:05 a.m., Sept. 9, at Crestwood Dr.

Both drivers were seriously injured, and taken to Lake Regional Hospital by Miller County EMS.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol report shows Gary Amos was arrested for DWI around the same time, noting he was released for medical treatment, though the Patrol did not confirm Amos was the driver of the vehicle.
