Owning a business at the Lake can be tricky. Especially with a small business, the owner wears many hats simultaneously it seems, both in front and back of the house.

Two local women who have successfully run businesses at the Lake for decades will be sharing the secrets of their success at a lunch event on Wednesday, Nov. 1, sponsored by the Heart of the Ozarks Professional & Business Women. The event will run from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at Baba’s Bistro, 126 Illinois St SW, Camdenton, MO 65020. The speakers will be Jane Martin, Owner of Scott's Concrete and Janine Bullock, Owner of Janine’s Flowers.

Both Jane and Janine own and operate family-run businesses at the Lake and plan to share their experiences with attendees of how to successfully lead a business through multiple decades. They'll discuss day-to-day operations as well as long-range planning.
