Multi-Day Event: November 26, 2026 - January 10, 2027, 5 - 10 p.m.

WHERE: National Shrine of St. Mary, 176 Marian Drive, Laurie, MO 65038

The National Shrine of Mary, Mother of the Church and St. Patrick Catholic Church are delighted to announce the return of one of the Lake of the Ozarks’ longest-running holiday traditions: the Festival of Lights, open nightly from 5–10 p.m., Thanksgiving evening, November 26, through January 10.

This free, family-friendly display has welcomed generations of visitors to experience the joy and wonder of the Christmas season. Created decades ago by Fr. Fred Barnett, the Festival of Lights continues to inspire thousands with its message of hope, peace, and the Light of the World.

Visitors may enjoy the illuminated drive-thru light experience around the campus or choose to park, walk, pray, and reflect in the peaceful setting of the Mothers’ Shrine.

Friday Hospitality: Hot Cocoa & Candy Canes

On Friday evenings in December, volunteers will offer free hot chocolate and candy canes from 5:45–8 p.m. to all who stop by—a warm and cheerful bonus to this cherished holiday tradition.
