LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — Low humidity and gusty winds are a recipe for fire danger today, across central and western Missouri.
The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning from noon until the evening, calling the fire danger “extremely high.” Any outdoor fires that develop will likely spread rapidly, according to the Weather Service.
Saturday’s sustained wind will be 15 to 25 miles per hour, with gusts up to 35 mph, and humidity values are expected to be between 20 and 30 percent.
