Camdenton Community Center - OLD RENDERING - NO LONGER CORRECT

CAMDENTON, Mo. — A Community Center in the City of Camdenton has long been talked about, and the project has now gone out for another round of bids.

City Administrator Jeffrey Hooker made the announcement at a Board of Alderman meeting in the beginning of January. The project was stalled due to previous costs (below) and will move forward if bids come within budget.

Hooker says plans for the center are complete, and land has been acquired on North Business Rt 5 in front of the City Aquatic Center. The state-of-the-art center will be 23,000 square feet on two levels.

Included in the plan are a community room, a gymnasium with a suspended walking track, an equipped exercise area, a lounge, a gathering area, and a caterer's kitchen.

Bids for the Camdenton Community Center are due mid-February.
