Regalia On The Auction Block! Current Bid For Lake Ozark Hotel Is $2.8 Million

LAKE OZARK, Mo. — The well-known Regalia Hotel & Conference Center at Lake of the Ozarks is on the auction block, and the clock is ticking.

The 83-room hotel and conference center sits on 18 acres and includes an indoor pool, gym, spa, and a variety of food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, bourbon cigar bar.

The hotel has undergone a $9 million renovation in recent years, according to the auction website. The buildings total 170,850 square feet including 38,825 square feet of conference and banqueting facilities. Last month, the annual Citizens Against Domestic Violence fundraiser brunch was held at the conference center, with more than 800 people in attendance, according to organizers.

As of Nov. 15 at 5 p.m., the bid was at $2.8 million and the reserve had not yet been met. It's unclear why the hotel is being sold via an auction and what the circumstances surrounding the sale are. A broker contact for the auction could not be reached late Wednesday.

The auction opened on Tuesday, Nov. 14 and is set to close at noon on Thursday, Nov. 16.
