Construction Begins On Chick-Fil-A At Lake Of The Ozarks [VIDEO]

Dirt is finally moving for Chick-Fil-A, the famous closed-on-Sundays chicken joint, in Osage Beach.

It was long rumored that Chick-Fil-A might be coming to Lake of the Ozarks, and for years, the popular fast-food chain denied having any plans.

But in summer 2025, the company confirmed it was planning its first-ever location here. While the location was initially kept quiet, it is now clear that the Chick-Fil-A will be located in Osage Beach, on Osage Beach Parkway, across the street from Steak & Shake and Outback Steakhouse.

Ramboldt Excavating has been staging equipment at the site for several weeks, but the earth-moving started this week.

No opening date has been announced yet. But contractors who have worked on other Chick-Fil-A builds talk about the aggressive scheduling and tight timelines for construction, so drivers will likely see the new restaurant going vertical quickly, with the iconic chicken sandwiches coming soon after.
