Norman Earl Dietz (March 19, 1937 - June 26, 2016)

Norman Earl Dietz, 79, of Eldon, MO passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Eldon Nursing & Rehab.

Norman was born March 19, 1937 in Columbia, MO to Thomas Joe Dietz and Mary Emiline (Caldwell).  Norman was formerly married to Violet (Nathan) Lovette who preceded him in death.

He was raised in Columbia, MO where he attended and graduated from the University of Missouri.  He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1963.  

He lived in Seattle, WA from 1962 to 1974.   He then located to Florida where he retired from United Water Resources and in 1992 he moved to Eldon, MO.

He is survived by step-daughter Kathy Unmuth (Mike), Grand Daughter Jody Chin (Ed) and two Great Grandchildren Jake and Caleb Chin, all from Seattle, WA.  While at home he was cared for by special friends; Annette and Roni Viles, Chris and Afton Ratcliffe, Monica Healy and Brad Mild.

One brother, Charles E. Dietz preceded him in death.

There are no services planned at this time.
