Diana L. Jones (Howard), age 65, of the Ivy Bend community near Stover, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016, at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City. She was born July 26, 1951, in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of the late Orville George and Ruth V. (McKee) Brewer.

She was united in marriage to Jerry Jones, who preceded her in death on February 4, 2013.

Diana was employed at Federal Crop Insurance in Kansas City, Missouri for many years until her retirement. Following her retirement, she became a homemaker and retired to the Ivy Bend community in 2006, enjoying her years there.

She was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 5178 in Gravois Mills.

Diana is survived by her daughter, Joy Dawn Trenolone and husband Michael of Blue Springs, Missouri; granddaughters, Brianna Davis and Lindsey Davis both of Blue Springs, Missouri; her significant other, Cliff Howard of the home; her brother, Randy Brewer of the Ivy Bend community and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Linda Hedrick and Pat Carmack.

A celebration of Diana’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 28th, at Skippers Bar and Grill in Ivy Bend. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
