LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — All hands were on deck to keep one of the Lake’s most famous party boats afloat after ice apparently damaged its hull on Monday.

The Captain Larry Don could be seen listing to the starboard side on Feb. 17, with a substantial portion of the stern under water. But the boat went no further into the water, and assistance soon arrived to help float it again.

The Larry Don was purchased by the owners of Beavers at the Dam in 2013, with the intent to renovate the famous party boat as part of a major expansion of the restaurant/bar.

UPDATE: In the end the Larry Don sailed her final voyage—a limping, propped-up voyage—to a nearby ramp, where the boat was pulled out and scrapped.
