CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — Leigh Ann Bauman, a Lake of the Ozarks realtor who made national news after allegedly trying to pay to get her ex-mother-in-law killed, pleaded not guilty this morning to felony conspiracy to commit murder.
Bauman posted bond after her arraignment this morning, when Judge Matthew Hamner set bond at $400,000 with GPS and other conditions.Â
During Bauman's arraignment Wednesday, Prosecutor Caleb Cunningham asked the court for Bauman to remain incarcerated without bond. Defense attorneys Fawzy Simon and Dean Price, Jr., asked for $75,000. The judge landed at $400,000 cash or surety.
Bauman bonded out of the Camden County Detention Facility on Wednesday after bond was set.Â
