CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — A crash just after midnight on Thursday left a 20-year-old Osage Beach man with serious injuries.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Mitchell Miller was driving a 2001 Chevy Silverado south on El Terra Road, at about 12:30 a.m. on Oct. 4. Miller was going too fast for the road conditions, the Patrol says, and the truck went off the left side of the road, hit a culvert, and overturned. Miller was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report, and was thrown from the vehicle.

The truck was totaled, and Miller sustained serious injuries. He was taken by EMS to University Hospital for treatment.
