CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — A 38-year-old Linn Creek woman was killed in a crash on Friday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the woman was driving a 2014 Jeep Patriot northbound on Route TT at 9:48 p.m. The vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed, the Patrol says, and began to skid as it approached a curve. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and hit two trees, according to the Patrol. It then reportedly overturned multiple times, ejecting the woman, who was not wearing a seatbelt.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Highway Patrol no longer releases the names of individuals involved in crashes, so the identity of the woman was not reported.
