CAMDENTON, Mo. — A dirt bike crash left a local teen with serious injuries on Monday evening.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 17-year-old James King was driving a Kawasaki KX60 along Merlin Drive on July 27, around 5:45 p.m., when he attempted to pass a car on the right. That vehicle, however, was making a right-hand turn into a driveway and King crashed into it.
He sustained serious injuries in the crash and was airlifted by Staff for Life helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia.
