LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — Saturday's storm across Lake of the Ozarks reportedly flipped a dock on the Little Niangua, and videos taken by Lake area residents show ominous funnel clouds swirling along with a rare waterspout.

Jennis Schreiber Henne says a tornado on Ski Valley Dr in Roach lifted up and touched down again on Saturday, Dec. 14. During the process, a dock across the Lake from her flipped on the 7.5 Mile Marker of the Little Niangua.

The same day, Jana Paczkowski captured a video of funnel clouds swirling near SuperSplash USA (formerly Big Surf) area. Others around the Lake also reported hail.

The National Weather Service of Springfield did not confirm a tornado in Camden, Miller, or Morgan County over the weekend.

“We couldn’t confirm whether the dock damage was from high winds or the tornado, as there wasn’t enough evidence to connect the two,” said one of the NWS Springfield meteorologists.

However, a video of a waterspout (which NWS says is technically classified as a tornado) was sent to LakeExpo from Saturday's storm, spotted in the Linn Creek Cove.
