Brenda Packett Obituary

Brenda Kay Packett, 68, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away on October 27, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories, countless moments of laughter, and a whole lot of love that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Brenda was born on February 24, 1958, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Ray Martinez and Marjorie Crews. She was a woman whose heart was full of love, whose faith was important to her, and whose greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren.

Brenda found happiness in the simple things in life. She loved spending time in her garden, settling in to watch a good movie, and, most of all, loving Jesus. She had a special fascination with the weather and could often be found watching the sky, especially when a storm was rolling in. While others might head for cover, Brenda loved watching the lightning light up the sky. It was just one of the many little things that made her uniquely Brenda.

Above all, Brenda loved her family. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy, and the memories made with them will be treasured for generations. Her love, laughter, faith, and the special way she made memories with those around her will be deeply missed.

Brenda is survived by her children, Stevie Packett (Luis), Bryan J. Packett (Lindsay), and Tess Hancock; her grandchildren, Ariana Lira, Tyler Jones, Erika Jones, Braelyn Packett, Serenity Packett, one grandchild on the way, and several others; her mother, Marjorie Crews; sister Angie Taylor (J.D..); several nieces and nephews; along with other relatives and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Packett; her father, Ray Martinez; her granddaughter, Delane Kay Packett; her grandmother, Lilly Parman; and her aunt, Ruth Harper.

Friends will be received from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. A celebration of Brenda's life will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
