LAKE OZARK, Mo. — A man who police have been searching for since late-September has been arrested.

According to the Lake Ozark Police Department, Michael Regehr, 32, led law enforcement agencies on a manhunt near Lowes in Osage Beach on Sept. 26, which led to a lockdown of some Osage school buildings and the alteration of some bus routes. Regehr had been on the run since then, authorities say.

On Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 20, authorities say they received a tip that Regehr was in a residence on Highway W in Lake Ozark.

Officers surrounded the house and Regehr was taken into custody after a brief struggle, according to the report. He is charged with Burglary and misdemeanor Theft, with the initial warrant for his arrest issued on Jan. 25, 2016, according to CaseNet.
