CAMDENTON, Mo. — The long-awaited Camdenton Community Center, a new facility for residents of all ages, will officially open in August.
"This Community Center represents an investment in the health, recreation, and quality of life of our residents," said Mayor John McNabb. "We look forward to welcoming everyone through our doors and providing a place where individuals and families can gather, stay active, and build lasting connections."
The City of Camdenton will host a soft opening from Monday, July 27, through Friday, July 31, from 8 a.m. to noon each day so the community can explore the facility before regular operations begin. The preview week will allow residents to familiarize themselves with everything the center offers.
During the soft opening, visitors are invited to:
- Tour the new Community Center
- Try out the fitness equipment
- Meet staff members
- Learn about membership options and fees
- Ask questions about programs and services that will be offered
Beginning Monday, Aug. 3, the Community Center will open for normal business hours, and memberships will officially become active.
Regular Hours of Operation:
Monday to Friday 6 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
The public is also invited to celebrate the official grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony on Sept. 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This will offer another chance to tour the facility, meet staff, and celebrate the new addition to the community.
