The board of directors for Citizens Against Domestic Violence has announced the selection of a new executive director. Sheree Keely took over the leadership role this month, and is committed to working with staff and the community to continue CADV’s mission to provide a safe haven and services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors we are excited about Sheree joining the leadership team at CADV,” Board president Trish Creach said. “Sheree brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the center and the clients who are and will continue to be served. CADV has made great strides in the past and we are confident with Sheree's exceptional leadership philosophy of collaboration and community engagement that CADV will continue to reach great milestones in the future to address domestic violence.”
Keely moved to the Lake of the Ozarks area from Nebraska in 2016. She has over 30 years of experience in the field of social work, is a licensed Clinical Social Worker and has a Master’s in Social work from the University of Nebraska.
“I’m excited to be joining the team of CADV and continuing to serve some of the community's most vulnerable citizens,” Keely said. “I have been amazed at the engagement of the community in supporting CADV. The community's support is mission critical to what we do! I’m looking forward to working closely with the community to continue reducing the negative effects of domestic violence and sexual assault in Camden, Miller and Morgan counties.”
