CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — Seven people are facing drug charges after a noise complaint brought police to a local hotel on Saturday night.

According to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, hotel management called authorities regarding a noise complaint. The management told the sheriff’s office they had been talking to the hotel guests in the hall, asking them to turn their music down, when—as the door opened—they observed what appeared to be drugs on a table inside the room.

Deputies ultimately arrested seven people, including one who allegedly jumped from the balcony of that room to the balcony of a neighboring room. They also reported seizing marijuana, prescription pills, cocaine and drug paraphernalia from the room.

The following were charged with two counts of Class C Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Class A Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana:

  • 25 year old William Gene Kafar of Dubuque, Iowa;
