CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — The body of a man found at a vacation home has been positively identified, according to the Camden Sheriff's Department.
Sergeant Scott Hines reported that on Thursday, May 5, the Camden County Medical Examiner was able to identify the body as that of Gregory B. Webb. Because Webb's body was significantly decomposed when it was found, the Medical Examiner had to resort to dental records to make the identification.
Webb was the caretaker for the property where he was found, and he had been reported missing five days before deputies discovered his body.
The Sheriff's Department also reported several items were stolen from the scene at the time of the homicide:
- A 1980s model John Deere Model 400 lawn tractor
- Black, 4'x8' carry-on trailer with one fender
- Several tools, sporting items, and electronic devices
