In 2021, Blake and Julie Fryer decided to open their own plumbing and HVAC business at the Lake of the Ozarks. As a true, family-owned business, the Fryers both work directly with customers to ensure reliable, quality service.

With Julie handling phone calls, emails, scheduling, and dispatching, Blake is out in the field working on the HVAC and plumbing needs of the Lake community. “I want to be with the customers,” owner Blake Fryer said.

Sundown Home Solutions services include:

HVAC maintenance
HVAC repair
Full system installations for homeowners
Plumbing repairs
Bathroom or kitchen fixture replacements
Water heater repair or installation

Sundown Home Solutions - Water Heater Install

By allowing word of mouth to spread about their new business, the Fryers wanted their work to speak for itself. Honesty goes a long way at the Lake and homeowners soon realized that Sundown Home Solutions stands behind what they say they will do.

“Upfront pricing really sets us apart from other companies. If we give a quote for a job, we never give a surprise bill when it is completed,” Fryer remarked.

Whether it's a simple repair or a full system installation, customers know exactly what to expect. Sundown Home Solutions also offers free estimates on new HVAC installations, making it easier for homeowners to plan and budget with confidence.

For urgent situations, such as a burst pipe, Sundown gets there on the double. Fryer recalls one customer who unfortunately came home to find three inches of water in his basement. A quick call to Sundown Home Solutions got Fryer on his way to immediately address the broken pipe.

To help manage the damage, Sundown Home Solutions referred the customer to trusted local restoration companies to clean up the basement.

“We always try our hardest to get to people as soon as possible,” Fryer emphasized.

But speed doesn’t come at the expense of quality work. One memorable job involved a customer who had a used AC/heat pump system installed by another company. When it failed, Sundown came in, completely redid the job, and had everything fully functional by the next day.

Though the situation was stressful, the customers remained upbeat and were extremely grateful for how well Sundown Home Solutions completed the full changeout of their AC system.

Because of their reputation of upfront billing and excellent work, Sundown Home Solutions stays busy. In fact, they are ready to hire another employee to ensure that customers continue to get timely service. “Due to our growth, we are currently looking for an experienced plumber and HVAC installer,” Fryer stated.

In a quick message to a good friend, Blake Fryer felt compelled to add, “While it is my dream to be a tall man, at least I am taller than Dax Beaman.”
