When the sun goes down, your Lake house’s yard goes dark, and your beautiful landscaping disappears, unless it’s lit. With 33 years of experience, Get Lit KC & LOZ knows how to make landscaping pop, even in the dark. And they’re finding some spectacular applications for docks too.
Get Lit KC & LOZ (formerly Creative Displays KC) specializes in professional, high-quality landscape and dock lighting that makes it easy for Lake residents to enjoy their properties even after the sun sets.
Around the property, up-tree lighting, deck lights, and pathway lights can showcase every ornamental tree or hardscape feature, creating a cool atmosphere for evening get-togethers or late-night swim parties.
And on the dock? The possibilities are endless.

“Other companies do lots of different types of outdoor work. But we do this exclusively. So our attention to detail really sets us apart,” Get Lit KC & LOZ owner Tony Cucar explained.
Get Lit KC & LOZ is excited to add permanent, LED color-changing lights to their list of services. These awesome decorative lights can be programmed to change to different color combinations and patterns every day of the year with the simple touch of an app.
While Lake residents may want to line their homes with these customizable lights to be used at Christmastime (think: red and green), Cucar has another suggestion. “I would love to see more customers install these lights on their docks. Seeing docks all lit up in different colors when you are out on the water is really awesome,” Cucar remarked.
Want to see an example? Get Lit KC & LOZ just installed these LED, color-changing lights on docks at Dog Days Bar and Grill.
Whether it's with colorful, programmable lights or traditional landscape lighting, Get Lit KC & LOZ has a lengthy list of properties they’ve helped to transform.
“We had a large job last summer with a steep driveway. They wanted the long driveway lit, as well as pathway lights, dock lighting; the whole nine yards. The lights made a huge difference,” Cucar said.
Another customer had what Cucar described as a treehouse-styled home. The house had a stairway that went under the home and continued down the sloped yard, eventually leading down to the dock. “It was a unique house but everything was practically dark on the stairway. We put lights on every stair tread and it looked amazing,” he commented.
