Shaun David Lake (May 5, 1982 - December 19, 2017)

Shaun David Lake, age 35, of Eldon, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at his home. He was born May 5, 1982, in Columbia, a son of Scott and Carolyn (Burke) Lake.

Shaun managed several restaurants with his most recent being Dairy Queen in Raymore and McDonald’s in Eldon.

He enjoyed the thrill of riding roller coasters and was an avid sports fan. Shaun was always cheering on his favorite teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Missouri Tigers.

He was an active supporter of Relay For Life and was always willing to help others in their time of need. Shaun had a loving heart and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was a member of the Eldon United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his parents, Scott and Carolyn Lake of Barnett, Missouri; his brother, Les Lake and wife Ellen of Harrisonville, Missouri; a nephew, Isaac Lake; a niece, Leah Lake; grandfathers, James Lake and Donald Burke both of Versailles, Missouri; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Dixie Lake and Kathryn Burke.

Interment in the Beulah Cemetery near Barnett. 

Memorial contributions are suggested to SSM Hospice or to the American Cancer Society.
