CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — A manhunt in Osage Beach came to an end around 8:30 a.m.
Jonathan T. Adams, 24, was arrested without incident, according to the Camden County Sheriff's Department, about seven and a half hours after authorities say he broke into a home along Ranch Road.
The manhunt had officers on high alert. Police were searching cars as drivers commuted to work in the area of Tan Tar A on Monday morning.
According to the Camden County Sheriff’s Office, the report of a shot fired brought police to the scene around 1 a.m. on Monday. Adams allegedly shot through a glass door of a home along or near Ranch Road. The home was occupied, police say, and Adams went into the bedroom and stole a purse. No one was injured.
The sheriff’s office says when Adams came into contact with the home’s occupants, he fled into the woods nearby.

Police were still searching for Adams, as school bus routes began to run on Monday morning, and authorities said they would be following buses, to ensure Adams did not board one.
Adams currently also faces a 2016 drug possession charge in Miller County, and is set to go to trial on a felony assault charge in Camden County in July of 2017.
