FT. LEONARD WOOD, Mo. — Seven Afghan soldiers training at U.S. military bases have gone missing in recent days, and two of them were training at Ft. Leonard Wood,  the Washington Free Beacon is reporting.

The newspaper says the soldiers were part of the International Military Education and Training Program before they went AWOL (absent without leave). Three of the Afghans went AWOL during the recent bombings in New York and New Jersey, the paper reported.

Military officials are investigating.
