LAKE OZARK, Mo. — It's St. Patrick's Day Weekend at the Lake, and that means parades!
The On-Land parade will proceed through Lake Ozark as usual, but the Water Parade had a last-minute change: boat mechanical issues means it's being moved to the land, too. Keep reading for more info.
St. Patrick's Day Parade On Land
The on-land parade will march through Lake Ozark on Bagnell Dam Blvd. The parade begins at 1 p.m. on the historic Bagnell Dam Strip at Lake of the Ozarks Missouri.
Deck the whole family out in green, grab the lawn chairs and head out to Bagnell Dam Strip for an afternoon of family fun watching the various floats, cars, motorcycles and yes even boats as they make trip along the Strip. And who knows you might even score some candy!
The parade will begin at the Tomahawk Motel/Brandon Michael Building.
Drivers are reminded to be careful driving down Bagnell Dam Blvd before the event while floats are lining up. The road will be shut down at 12:45 p.m. and re-open around 3 p.m. You can exit or enter Route HH by using Hwy 242 and traffic will be let through at gaps in the parade.

St. Patrick's Day Parade On The Water
The annual Parade on the Water is typically a festive event that starts with breakfast, after which everyone climbs aboard a Celebration cruise boat. However, the Lake West Chamber found out late this week that, unfortunately due to mechanical issues on the Celebration boats, they will not be available.
The party, however, must go on! The Lake West Chamber is will bring Water Parade participants aboard buses to travel from one venue to the next -- those who have their own boat, are welcome to still decorate and meet everyone at each spot. All those who have purchased tickets for the St. Pat's cruise have been contacted and offered the option to hop aboard a bus, or get a refund.
Call the Lake West Chamber at 573-374-5500 to purchase tickets, or for more information visit lakewestchamber.com/st-pats-water-parade
