The paving phase of a resurfacing project on U.S. Route 54 in Miller County will begin on Monday, Aug. 22. Weather permitting, paving will begin in the eastbound lanes from the Osage River to the Miller/Cole County line.
Motorists should expect lane closures and minor delays through the duration of the work. Once work is complete, temporary pavement markings will be in place until striping can be completed.
This project also includes paving westbound Route 54 from Old Tuscumbia Road near Eldon to Route 242 in Lake Ozark. The project is expected to be completed by winter of 2016.
