LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the period of Aug 11–22, 2014.
Weather conditions may cause postponements in the work schedule. Other construction or maintenance work may occur on other roadways throughout the area. Many projects will include lane closures, and delays can be expected. MoDOT reminds the public to buckle up, slow down, follow posted signing and drive safely through work areas.

Striping of roadways, mowing and brush cutting continues in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.

Route 7 between Route 5 and Route 65 in Benton County - Roadway resurfacing continues. One lane is open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in the fall.
Route 54 over the Lake of the Ozarks in Osage Beach - Bridge inspection in the eastbound and westbound lanes will take place the week of September 2. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route 5 over the Niangua River, south of Greenview - Bridge inspection will take place the week of September 2. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
MILLER COUNTY

Route 17 between Route 52 and Route 54 in Cole County - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, September 8 through Thursday, September 11. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 42 between Barren Branch Road and Spring Branch Road - Culvert pipe replacement will take place Wednesday, September 10 and Thursday, September 11. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 52 between Route 17 and Route PP - Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place on Tuesday, September 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 87 between Business Route 54 and Route A in Moniteau County - Culvert pipe maintenance in various locations will take place Monday, September 8 through Thursday, September 11. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Business Route 54 between Route 242 and Bagnell Dam Boulevard - Roadway maintenance will take place Tuesday, September 2 through Thursday, September 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route K between Route 17 and the end of state maintenance - Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Tuesday, September 2 through Monday, September 8. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
