LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the period of Dec. 1–12, 2014.
Weather conditions may cause postponements in the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays. MoDOT reminds the public to buckle up, slow down, follow posted signing and drive safely through work areas.
ALL COUNTIES
Daylight/Evening Hours
Striping of roadways, mowing, brush cutting and guardrail repair continues in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
CAMDEN COUNTY
Daylight Hours
Route 7 between Route 5 and Route 65 in Benton County - Roadway resurfacing is complete.
Route 54 at Business Route 5 - Pavement and sidewalk improvements are underway.
* The contractor will install pedestrian signal upgrades at the Town Square intersection the week of December 1. Occasional lane closures are likely in the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in December.
MILLER COUNTY
Daylight Hours
Route 17 over the Osage River, north of Route F - Bridge inspection will take place on Wednesday, December 3 and Thursday, December 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 17 between Route 52 and Route H - Roadside maintenancewill take place Monday, December 1 through Friday, December 12. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 42 between Route 134 and Kaiser Road - Roadside maintenancewill take place Monday, December 1 through Friday, December 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 52 between Route PP and Route 133 in Maries County - Roadside maintenancewill take place Monday, December 1 through Friday, December 12. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 54 over the Little Gravois Creek, east of Lake Land Road - Bridge maintenance in the eastbound lanes will take place Monday, December 8 through Friday, December 12. One eastbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route 87 between Route P and Route A in Moniteau County - Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, December 1 through Friday, December 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Business Route 54 over Bagnell Dam - Maintenance by Ameren UE will take place Monday, December 1 through Thursday, December 4. The dam will be closed to traffic from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the area.
Route Y between Beacon Road and the end of state maintenance in Morgan County - Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place Monday, December 1 through Friday, December 12. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
MORGAN COUNTY
Daylight Hours
Route BB between Route D and Wren Road - Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Monday, December 1. The road will be closed between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
