LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the period of April 6–17, 2015.
Weather conditions may postpone the work schedule. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.
MoDOT reminds motorists to buckle up, slow down, follow posted signs and drive safely through work areas.
ALL COUNTIES
Daylight/Evening Hours
Occasional striping of roadways, mowing, brush cutting and guardrail repair continues in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
CAMDEN COUNTY
Daylight Hours
Route 5 in Sunrise Beach - Roadway widening continues.
* Crews will continue grading work to prepare for the construction of an additional lane. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in August.
Route A between Route 7 and Route 54 - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, April 6 through Thursday, April 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route MM between Route 242 and Route TT - Roadside maintenancewill take place Monday, April 6 through Thursday, April 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route Y between Route 54 and County Road Y-30 - Resurfacing and shoulder work continues.
* Asphalt placement for the new two-foot-wide shoulders is planned for the week of April 6.
* Resurfacing of the current roadway will take place the week of April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in June.
Lake Road 54-82 between Route 54 and Old Route 54 - Roadway maintenancewill take place Monday, April 6 through Thursday, April 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
MILLER COUNTY
Daylight Hours
Route 54 over Bagnell Dam - Bridge maintenance will take place Monday, April 6 through Friday, April 10. All lanes will be closed from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm daily.
Route 17 between Route 42 and West Normal Street - Roadside maintenance will take place Wednesday, April 8. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 17 between Route 42 and Route 52 - Guard rail replacement and repair will take place during the week of April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 17 between West Main Street and Cherry Lane - Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Thursday, April 9. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route U between Route EE and Barton School Road - Roadway maintenancewill take place Monday, April 6 and Tuesday, April 7. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route U between Barton School Road and Kinderhook Road - Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route BB between Route 42 and the Maries County line - Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, April 13 through Thursday, April 16. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
MORGAN COUNTY
Daylight Hours
Route O between Route 5 and the end of state maintenance - Roadside maintenance will take place Tuesday, April 7 and Wednesday, April 8. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 135 between Candy Lane and Web Road - Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Monday, April 6. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
