Ozarks Amphitheater has announced that nationally renowned Southern country-rock band Parmalee is set to perform at the venue on Aug. 6, 2016.
Currently nominated for ACM "New Vocal Duo/Group of the Year," Parmalee recently performed "Already Callin' You Mine" on NBC's Today show and MLB Central's Studio 21. "Already Callin' You Mine" is the third consecutive hit of Parmalee's debut Stoney Creek Records album, "Feels Like Carolina" ("Close Your Eyes" and "Carolina"). "Carolina" was a multi-week #1 hit at country radio and is now certified Platinum in sales.
Parmalee consists of brothers Matt Thomas (lead vocals, guitar) and Scott Thomas (drums), cousin Barry Knox (bass) and childhood friend Josh McSwain (guitar). www.Parmalee.com
"We are working very hard to bring music's most talented artists to Ozarks Amphitheater this year," said Ozarks Amphitheater Director of Operations Mary Kay von Brendel. "This show is just one of many to be announced as we secure an all-star lineup for this season. We are dedicated to giving music fans the ultimate concert experience and looking forward to a memorable 2016!"
After several years of disuse, Ozarks Amphitheater reopened in 2015 and brought acts such as the Tracy Lawrence, Ozark Mountain Daredevils, and Dokken. The venue has more than 10,000 dedicated seats, and seating for nearly 3,000 on the lawn.
Ozarks Amphitheater is located in the heart of Lake of the Ozarks @ 2368 N. Highway 5, Camdenton, MO 65020. www.OzarksAmp.com
