MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. — A Stover man was hospitalized on Wednesday after crashing his motorcycle on Ivy Bend Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 53-year-old Timothy Becker was driving a 2012 Harley Davidson north on Ivy Bend Road near Web Loop Junction, when he swerved to avoid a deer in the road. The motorcycle overturned onto its right side and slid, throwing Becker from it. The motorcycle then reportedly hit a ditch on the left side of the road, flew through the air and rolled before coming to rest.

Becker sustained moderate injuries in the crash and was taken by personal conveyance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
