LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — A late-night boat outing came to a jarring halt when a Washington, Mo. man was injured by a fall inside the boat.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, David Mueller was driving a 1998 Bayliner deck boat westbound along the 2 Mile Marker when the boat hit a wake. That caused 54-year-old Jean-Jacques Tabarly to fall, according to the report.

Tabarly sustained moderate injuries in the fall and was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment.
