OSAGE BEACH, Mo. — The former Dragon House restaurant is being auctioned off by the City of Osage Beach, piece-by-piece.

The city purchased the property, which borders the Grand Glaize Airport, last summer with the help of a Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission State Block Grant. The purchase price was $290,000 plus closing costs, and the city only had to contribute around $15,000.

Now, the Dragon House is being sold to the highest bidder in a silent auction.

In the auction announcement, the city said, “The City is looking for bidders interested in salvaging the building or parts of the building… Any tangible items that can be salvaged from the premises, i.e. the outdoor sign, doors, windows, wood trim, light fixtures, the wooded bar, etc., are included.”

An Open House will be held on Friday, April 11, from noon – 4 p.m. at the property, for anyone interested in bidding to see the property.
