GRAVOIS MILLS, Mo. — Kids Cove is proud to announce the launch of its largest fundraising initiative to date: the Kids Cove House Raffle.
This unique campaign offers participants the chance to win a home while helping build a brighter future for foster children and families across Missouri.
The home, generously donated by James and Kate Radford, is located in Versailles. Kids Cove plans to renovate and fully furnish the property before raffling it, with support from local contractors, businesses, interior designers, and community partners.
Proceeds from the raffle will help fund the development of the first Kids Cove Kids Resort, a planned retreat and respite destination designed to provide foster families with opportunities for rest, recreation, and support.
"We believe every foster family deserves a place to recharge," said James Radford, Executive Director of Kids Cove. "This raffle is about more than giving away a house. It's about creating a lasting resource that will serve foster children and families for years to come."
The future Kids Cove Kids Resort is envisioned as a dedicated respite facility where foster families can find rest, recreation, and support in a safe, family-centered environment. Preliminary plans include living accommodations, office space, and a large indoor recreation area designed to give children a place to play, learn, and heal while families spend quality time together.
Tickets will be sold for $100 each. A minimum of 3,000 tickets must be sold for the home to be awarded as the grand prize. If the minimum ticket sales goal is not met by the official drawing date, the raffle prize will convert to a cash award equal to 10% of total ticket sales, up to a maximum of $10,000.
The official raffle drawing date will be announced at a later date.
Participants must be 21 years of age or older to enter. Official rules and ticket information will be available through Kids Cove prior to the launch of ticket sales.
The Kids Cove Kids Resort project represents the next chapter in the organization's mission to support foster families throughout Missouri. The planned resort will be designed to strengthen and encourage those caring for children in foster care.
Community businesses and organizations interested in sponsoring, furnishing, or supporting the project are encouraged to contact Kids Cove. For more information about Kids Cove, the House Raffle, or sponsorship opportunities, visit www.kidscoverespitehome.org.
