LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — Whether cruising to Captain Ron's to watch wakeboarders fly high at BROstock, or joining in the Lake Race Props & Hoses Poker Run, boaters will find marina gas prices not much different from last week, still saving nearly a dollar per gallon compared to this time last year.
The cheapest 87 Octane gas this weekend among those marinas surveyed by LakeExpo.com is at Ozark Yacht Club, at $2.97/gal.
Lakeshores Marina has the lowest 93 Octane price this week, at $3.67/gal.
The cheapest diesel on the water is at Formula Boats, at $2.63/gal.
MOON & WEATHER
Rain is expected to clear out of the area by late-morning on Saturday, with cloudy skies the rest of that day and a chance of rain with highs in the mid-60s. Sunday is expected to be sunnier, but temperatures are not expected to climb above the upper-60s.
As long as the clouds hold off, boaters can cruise by moonlight under a nearly-full waxing moon that will rise in the early evening hours and set a couple of hours before sunrise.
