LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. — The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the mid-Missouri area for the period of Nov. 24 – Dec. 5, 2014.
Scheduled lane closures will not take place on Thursday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Nov. 28, for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Weather conditions may cause postponements in the work schedule. Other construction or maintenance work may occur on other roadways throughout the area. Many projects will include lane closures, and delays can be expected. MoDOT reminds the public to buckle up, slow down, follow posted signing and drive safely through work areas.
ALL COUNTIES
Daylight/Evening Hours
Striping of roadways, mowing, brush cutting and guard rail repair continues in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert to slow-moving equipment along the road.
CAMDEN COUNTY
Daylight Hours
Route 7 between Route 5 and Route 65 in Benton County - Roadway resurfacing is nearing completion. The project is scheduled for completion in early December.
Route 54 at Business Route 5 - Pavement and sidewalk improvements are underway.
* The contractor will install pedestrian signal upgrades at the Town Square intersection the week of November 24. Occasional lane closures are likely in the work area. The project is scheduled for completion in December.
Route A between Route 54 and Route E - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, November 24 and Tuesday, November 25. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
MILLER COUNTY
Daylight Hours
Route 17 over the Osage River, north of Route F - Bridge inspection will take place on Wednesday, December 3 and Thursday, December 4. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 17 between Route 52 and Route H - Roadside maintenancewill take place Monday, December 1 through Friday, December 12. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route 54 over the Osage River, west of River Road - Bridge maintenance in the eastbound and westbound lanes will take place on Monday, November 24 and Tuesday, November 25. One eastbound lane and one westbound lane will be open through the work area.
Route 87 between Route P and Route A in Moniteau County - Culvert pipe replacement will take place Monday, November 24 through Friday, December 5. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Business Route 54 over Bagnell Dam - Maintenance by Ameren UE will take place Monday, December 1 through Thursday, December 4. The dam will be closed to traffic from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the area.
Route D between Oak Bend Road and the end of state maintenance - Roadside maintenance will take place Monday, November 24 and Tuesday, November 25. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
MORGAN COUNTY
Daylight Hours
Route BB between Route 135 and Route D - Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place on Tuesday, November 25. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
Route BB between Route D and Wren Road - Culvert pipe replacement will take place on Monday, December 1. The road will be closed between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route around the work area.
Route JJ between Route 135 and Route D - Culvert pipe replacement in various locations will take place on Monday, November 24. One lane will be open, and crews will flag traffic through the work area.
